It is very hard to not notice the 2010 Camaro, but this stealthy attraction has caught many eyes of consumers. The Camaro Black Concept has a most sinister-look tuner vehicles prowling the streets with an assortment of equipments.

Most of its equipments have headlamps with a odd red “halo ring” color, revision of a darker grille finish and tinted glass and color-coated exterior badging. 2008 Chevrolet Corvette C6-R

In the last season, Corvette Racing has won all eleven races to claim the manufacturers and team championships for the eighth straight year. The number 3 Corvette C6-R is driven by Jan Magnussen and Johnny O’Connell and has captured the drivers championship ahead of the number 4 Corvette drivers. Mark Kent, director of GM Racing, accepted the manufacturers’ championship trophy on behalf of Chevrolet.

"Corvette Racing has achieved remarkable results in 10 years of competition in the GT1 category," Kent said. "The 2008 season marks the end of one chapter in Corvette Racing history, and the beginning of a new chapter as we move into the GT2 category in 2009. We look back at our past success with pride, and we look forward to new challenges with determination to succeed. We anticipate great competition, and I can think of no team that is better prepared for that challenge than Corvette Racing." This amazing car can reach 0-60 mph in less than 3.3 seconds and top speeds of 187 mph.

Chevrolet Camaro SS

Chevrolet has reestablished their Camaro for 2010, GM’s new, global rear-wheel-drive design; the Camaro is in a V-6-powered LS and LT models. A long dash-to-axle and short rear deck gives the Camaro its classic proportions, with its sleek windshield profile, wheels pushed down to the corners and muscular fender forms are its modern elements that back up its standard engineering.

It also has an advanced LED light pipe technology that gives the cabin a friendly glow. These details such as chrome-trimmed controls, low-gloss surfaces and premium fabric or acrylic appliqués convey. It has been a richness that has been inside previous Camaro models. Buyers can have options of center-console gauge cluster, which displays oil temperature, oil pressure, state-of-battery and transmission fluid temperature, all with modern LED backlighting.

The Camaro SS is equipped with a powerful 6.2L V-8, with your choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. A standard or manual transmission-equipped model gives the LS3 engine an extra boost, estimated at 422 horsepower (315 kW) and 408 lb,-ft of torque (553 Nm). The LS3 has made its entrance on the 2008 Corvette and uses high-flow cylinder heads based on the Corvette’s Z06’s LS7 engine to allow greater low-end torque and high-rpm thrust. The Camaro SS is teamed up with a TR6060 six-speed transmission, based on the LS3 and handles a high-performance design feature, including a GM’s fuel Active Fuel Management display. It allows the engine to run on four cylinders during their light-load driving conditions, such as highway cruising, to help the fuel economy, with an estimated 23 mpg on the highway. The 2010 Camaro has been designed based on the GM’s global rear-wheel-drive architecture, having a strong body structure to enhance safety, quietness and handling.

The four-wheel disc brakes combined with ABS are standard for all models, LS and an LT model has been receiving these brakes. SS models have much larger rotors and act upon the four-piston, aluminum Brembo calipers on all four corners. The very first Corvette C4 contained an L83 V8 engine with 4+3 manual transmission that delivered an output power of 205 hp and 290 lb-ft torque.

In the year 1989, 4-speed manual transmission was used, which was linked with automatic overdrive on the first three gears. Later in 1992, ZF 6-speed manual transmission was introduced and in that year, the LT4 engine was placed, which delivered an output power of 330 hp.

The B2K Callaway Twin-Turbo was launched in the year 1987, which is considered one of Chevrolet’s most technically advanced and high performance car. The early cars delivered an output power of 345 hp and 450 lb-ft torque and the next version cars delivered an output power of 345 hp and 450 lb-ft torque.

A version of this car called the Calloway Sledgehammer Corvette, which was limited to one car, delivered a record output power of 880 bhp and a record speed of 254.76 mph at the Ohio's Transportation Research Center track. Although this speed was never achieved on regular street and was never officially documented.

ZR1
The ZR1 consisted of an LT5 V8 engine along with 32 valves and four overhead camshafts and delivered an output power of 375 hp. The car consisted of modified steering and braking systems and ensured perfect driving control. The car also set seven international records for its speed at different races. The ZR1 reaches the speed of 60 mph in 4.6 seconds with top speed of 180+ mph.

Muscle Cars by Chevrolet during the 1960s and early 1970s

Chevrolet muscle cars were at the center of the classic period of American large cubic inch high performance engines. The fundamental theme of the muscle car was maximum performance for minimal amount of money. This design played to Chevrolet's strength as a premium producer of attractive and affordable muscle cars for sale.

Chevrolet produced the most extensive and most admired lineup of muscle cars of any manufacturer throughout the 1960s and early 1970s. Chevrolet had credibility as a performance-car builder due to its small-block V-8 introduced in 1955. This V8 was a favorite of racers and hot rodders, and its role in the success of the Chevrolet Corvette swayed any remaining doubters that Chevrolet knew how to build fast cars.

It was the well-known 409-cid V-8 that did as much for Chevrolet's muscle car representation. Introduced in 1961, it’s most fascinating home was the new lmpala Super Sport, which could be ordered with a 360 horsepower 409. A dual four-barrel carburetor choice for 1962 brought 1 horsepower per cubic inch to this powerful V8, and soon after the 409’s produced up to 425 horsepower.

Chevrolet's offering in the midway lines was the Chevelle, and its Super Sport adaptation became one of the most-popular muscle cars of all time. The Chevelle SS was originally available with 283- and 327-cid small-block V-8s with up to 300 bhp. In 1965, a 375-bhp 396-cid big-block was installed in just over 200 Chevelles, and the muscle car race was on.

The Chevelle SS 396 became a separate model in 1966, and more than 72,000 were sold that year. The Chevelle SS power peaked for 1970 with the 450-bhp LS6 version of the 454-cid V-8. The LS6 SS 454 Chevelles were among the quickest and fastest muscle cars ever built and quickly became a great car for drag racing.

Chevrolet also used its muscle car formula in the compact-car lines with the Nova SS. The 1966 327-cid 350 horsepower Nova SS and the 396-cid big-block edition introduced for 1968 could hold their own with effectively any muscle car on the road.

ZR1 Active Suspension Prototype
This model was launched in the year 1990 which includes the active hydraulic suspension specially designed for this car. A total of 25 cars have been manufactured in this model.
