2009 Audi TTS Coupe And Roadster – Looks Sporty Both Inside and Out

Audi TTS Coupe 2009

Audi TT Cars. The 2009 Audi TT adds a new model to its roster, the TTS, the top of the Audi TT model line.. Four-seat Coupe hatchback and two-seat Roadster Audi TT convertible models are available. The 2009 Audi TT car gets a few minor changes but is essentially carried over; however, 2009 brings an all-new, higher-performance TTS variant.

On the standard Audi TT cars are two different choices of engines: a turbocharged four-cylinder model with front-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel drive and a V-6 model with quattro. Of these two, the V-6 is a little faster, but heavier, with a 2.0T feels peppier. The four-cylinder engine is also much better fuel economy that the V-6, with the EPA of 23 mpg city, 31 highway.

The new 2009 Audi TTS comes with a higher output power of 265-version of the 2.0T engine, and includes magnetic ride suspension with standard-Sport and Sport mode reduces your tour by 0.39 inch ventilated discs and most current performance escape. And in the TTS, the electronic stability control includes a new method to track the days that allows the control of drift (with a digital timer back). The TTS can hit 62 mph in just 5.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph.

Both of Audi TT cars engines come with the S tronic gearbox, a dual-clutch automated manual transmission that has snappy changes in aggressive driving, more relaxed cruising on smooth, and downshifts quickly. The performance is not prudent for a penalty against conventional manual transmission. In that sense, there is no manual gearbox with the base or even the TT TTS, but the V-6 is still offered with a six-speed manual.

Whether as a 2009 Audi TT or TTS, there are two choices of body style: Coupe and Roadster. The tight top of the convertible Audi TT car is available in manual or power, and like everyone else before the Audi TTS, the 2009 has a quiet place free of moisture with the walk up. And, unlike rigid configurations with retractable, trunk space is not compromised with the top folded down.

One of the characteristics of excellence that Audi has been the quality and luxury of the interiors, and for all models of Audi TT cars, this is true. For those looking for a navigation system, the Prestige is the only option that offers the package. The TTS is a silk Nappa leather and Alcantara interior with aluminum finish.

The 2009 Audi TTS comes with 18-inch cast aluminum wheels that sport five arm parallel-spoke S design 245/40-size tires and shoes. Also, optionally, wheel variants are available, including a new 19-inch cast aluminum wheel designed by quattro GmbH. The exceptionally dynamic top of the line Audi TT cars model comes equipped with a high-performance braking system. Large disks are fitted front and rear, with front discs are internally ventilated too. Inside the black-painted calipers, which bear the TTS emblem at the front, are the sport brake pads. The Coupe’s body weighs a mere 206 kilograms (454.15 pounds), of which 140 kg (308.65 lbs) is aluminum and 66 kg (145.51 lbs) steel. In the case of the TTS Roadster, whose body incorporates special reinforcements, the figure is 251 kilograms (553.36 pounds). The sports seats are optionally available for the upholstery in Silk Nappa leather. The Coupé is priced at 44,900 euros and the Roadster at 47,750 euros. The interior is dominated by the multifunctional leather sports steering wheel. The extension of the style of aluminum and heated sports seats with leather / Alcantara upholstery are further highlights.
