2010 Ferrari 458 Italia

Ferrari is perhaps one of the most innovative car makers around, and the 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia is an obvious testament to Ferrari’s inventive spirit. What makes the 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia stand out from previous Ferrari cars is the fact that it is an entirely new concept in terms of aerodynamics, instrumentation, ergonomics, handling, engine, and design, and this is due largely to Ferrari’s Formula 1 experience.

This 2-door coupe production car and two-seater berlinetta’s compact aerodynamic shape features a front grille with a single opening as well as side air intakes that have been designed to direct air to the flat underbody (the first of its kind on a Ferrari model) and the coolant radiators. The 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia’s nose also has small aeroelastic winglets to generate downforce. The new model has a V8 mid-engine that displaces 4,499 cc. with a horsepower of 570 bhp at 9,000 rpm, torque of 398 lb.-ft. at 6,000 rpm, and a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. It can reach 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 202 mph.
